2/07/2021 – 11:21
What a great day! Today Palgrave published the collective volume that Eva A. Kaili and I edited with the title: “Disintermediation Economics: The impact of Blockchain on Markets and Policies”. We are confident that this volume is the most updated text on the status of blockchain policy in the world. In this book we introduce the idea of “Disintermediation Economics” as a framework of analysis that explains how economic actors decide the level of decentralisation in their organisations, operations and decision-making. We organise the volume in three parts: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Finance, and Political Economy. We are deeply indebted to our contributors, all global leaders, academics, policy-makers and regulators. Thank you Dr Guenther Dobrauz Mark A. Schrackmann, Hans VERHEGGEN, David Shrier, Dr Jane Thomason, David LEE Kuo Chuen 李国权, Ernie Teo, Dante A. Disparte, Elisabeth Noble, Syren Johnstone, Pēteris Zilgalvis, Baldacci Emanuele, Joao Rodrigues Frade, Loretta Anania, Rob van Kranenburg, Gaelle Le Garsfor your insights and impactful ideas. We are also thankful to Sheila Warren, Marc Taverner and Albert Isola MP for their endorsements. We believe that this is a great reading for your summer break that will equip you with useful tools and information. Next step is to welcome you all in the European Parliament in a great conference with all the contributors to exchange ideas on innovative, blockchain based business models and policies.
